Services, Courses, & Information Court Educational Programs has been providing services since 1993! Our general office is located in Lake County (Tavares, Florida). We are licensed and certified in the programs we provide. Along with the online courses, Court Educational Programs offers a variety of group services. Substance Abuse Evaluation Assessment of alcohol/substance abuse risk factors to determine if substance abuse treatment is needed. $75.00 STOP Program A 4-hour educational program that is designed for individuals who have been court-ordered for having drug and/or alcohol charges. In most cases, this course is court-ordered for first time offenders of marijuana possession or paraphernalia. Topics Includes: What is Addiction? What is Marijuana? Marijuana-Effect on Mind and Body HIV/AIDS-The Basics Just the Facts-Alcohol Making the Right Change Chemical Dependency-A Disease of Denial Drugs that Alter your Mood $50.00 CHOICE A 2-hour educational program that is designed for individuals who have been court-ordered for the first time offense of an alcohol charge-excluding DUI charges. Topics Includes: What is Addiction? Just the Facts-Alcohol Making the Right Change Chemical Dependency - A Disease of Denial $25.00 Level I & II Substance Abuse Court Educational Programs offers a multi disciplinary course based on the recovery programs of Alcoholic Anonymous and Narcotic Anonymous. The client will be introduced to the disease model and will learn that the family tree and the role of genetics play a part in their lives and will begin to understand the dynamics of how the family origin impacts their lives today. When presented in a systemic manner, this program offers a comprehensive, affective method of education, treatment, and aftercare. Applied in a comfortable atmosphere it changes lives dramatically. We help offenders recognize for the first time the exact nature of their problems. They will see the logic of the solution (abstinence) and the clear-cut actions they can take. We will help motivate the client to recover. Participants can begin the program at any time and will receive the full range of services licensed by The Florida Department of Children and Families. Level I: A 12 Week program Held on Wednesday at 6:00pm to 7:30pm $20.00 Level II: A 18 Week program Held on Wednesday at 6:00pm to 8:30pm $40.00
